New home

We spent the last 3 days in our new house, the hoomans had to prepare the walls and floors for paint, wallpaper and floorboards.
That meant heavy machinery and a LOT of dust. After inspecting the machine for the floor and a trip to the local building supplies store to buy another machine, Gussie and I kept out of harm’s way and left the hoomans to their own devices.
Of course I made sure that there was sufficient sustenance, both on site and in the evenings, you know me!
After 3 days, the results is:
All concrete floors are planed.
The walls of the upper floor are planed and coated with a sticky substance that is needed as a precoat before the paint. I warn you, don’t get this into your fur! The hoomans had a job washing it off themselves!
The windows are washed and inspected for damage (happy to report there are only 2 small scratches on the casings).
The guy tiling the bathrooms has arrived and started working.
It’s starting to come together, slowly but surely!
